As a cultural historian, educator, and author, I am dedicated to exploring a range of intellectual and cultural interests; sparking curiosity among lifelong learners; and gathering people together to deepen their knowledge, share their thoughts, and broaden their perspective on a range of subjects.
For over twenty five years, my teaching career has focused on Continuing Education for adults. My mission is to create a sense of community and open-minded exploration of ideas and topics in history, literature, film, sociology, visual culture, and the arts.
I offer:
small group classes and discussions
special events featuring live conversations with authors and scholars
private book group facilitation
both online and in-person programs (as circumstances allow)
What My Students Are Saying:
“This class has been enlightening, interesting, and valuable. The curriculum you created is so rich and powerful. I know I will be sharing some of the media we consumed and coming back to a lot of the ideas over time. I’m so glad to have been part of your journey along with everyone else in the class.”
