Short Stories Live
This innovative program combines the immediacy of live performance, insights into classic and contemporary literature, and lively discussions with fellow participants.
At every session, watch and listen as a professional actress/actor reads a thought-provoking short story live, and then engage in a discussion led by cultural historian Lori Rotskoff. This program was conceived by Alice Moody, a literary consultant and discussion facilitator based in Chicago.
The short story for each session remains a surprise until the day the session meets. Participants receive a copy of the story via email before each session for future reference, or to follow along during the dramatic reading. No advance reading or preparation is required. Just zoom in, listen to the story, and join the discussion!
